DR LUCY HU, M.B.B.S. B.Nurse
She worked at Xiangya Hospital and has 12 years of GP experience, with special interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Chronic Disease Management and Dermatology. As well as being an English speaker, she is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
In the year 2000 she migrated to New Zealand, unable to gain medical registration there, she completed a Bachelor of Nursing, at Auckland University, and has worked in hospitals, as a Div 1 Nurse initially in Auckland and then from 2012 in Melbourne. More recently, she completed her AMC examination, opening the door for her to return to her first love – being a caring GP. She is a member of the Royal Australian College of GP’s.
DR NATASHA MITIK-DINEVA MBBS FRACGP
Dr Natasha is an experienced GP who enjoys the variety of General Practice but has a special interest in Women’s Health.
Dr Natasha provides ‘shared Maternity Care’ through Eastern and Mercy Health.
She also performs IUD and Implanon insertions and removals.
DR RICHARD GREEN MBBS FRACGP
Dr Richard Green graduated MBBS from Monash University in Victoria, in 1994. He attained his specialist GP qualifications, his FRACGP in 2011. He is married with two young children, he enjoys developing his garden, and being with his family. Richard brings many years of experience in General practice to our medical centre, and is interested in all aspects of General practice. He’s an avid music fan, and relaxes with his music.
DR ANAND SINGH MBBS FRACGP Dip Derm
Dr Anand Singh, joined our practice in 2012, coming from India where he had gained considerable experience. Graduating from Pune University in Pune, India, he went on to obtain Post Graduate Diploma’s in Health and Hospital Management, and in Maternal and Child Health. He is also a Master in Public Health, achieved at the University of Queensland. Currently he is sitting for a Diploma in Dermatology, also from the University of Queensland. He strives to always be in touch with the latest medical developments.
He is married with one child, and has special interests in Dermatology, Women’s health, and Geriatric Medicine.
DR VIJAY JAYARAMAN MBBS FRACGP MRCGP (UK) DFFP MD DCH MSc (Diabetes)
Dr Vijayanandam (Vijay) Jayaraman was born in India where he finished his Undergraduate and Post Graduate in General Medicine and Paediatrics. Dr Vijay then moved to the United Kingdom and completed higher training in Internal Medicine and Post Graduate GP training (MRCGP) before obtaining his FRACGP in Australia. Dr Vijay also has a Diploma in Family Planning, Drug Abuse and Heart Failure along with a MSc in Diabetes. He initially worked in a General Practice super clinic and skin clinic in Queensland before moving to Melbourne. He specialises in chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic Heart Disease, Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Child Ailments.
He also does skin procedures, minor surgeries, joint injections, Nexplanon/Implanon and IUCD coils. He loves to communicate with people, shows empathy and is interested in continuing his medical education as well as passing his expertise on to other doctors.
DR SUMITA SINGH MBBS FRACGP
Dr Sumita Singh graduated MBBS from Dr MGR Medical University, India. She served in Army Medical Corps as a Medical Officer looking after the health and well being of Army personnel and their families. After attaining her Post Graduate Diploma in Maternal and Child Health, in which she was awarded University Gold Medal by Vice President of India, she worked in various hospitals as a GP with special interest in woman’s health.
She brings with her, years of experience in women’s heath, obstetric care, contraception, adolescent health, and chronic disease management.
DR DAVID WARBURTON MBBS FRACGP FRACMA
Dr David Warburton graduated MBBS in 1975 from Melbourne University. He underwent resident and registrar training firstly at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and then at The Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. Dr Warburton gained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 1982 in the specialty of General Medicine. He then worked full time in medical administration at The Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital where he also became involved in the clinical education of medical students. Dr Warburton gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) in 1991. Dr Warburton has worked in the private emergency department of The Valley Private Hospital in Mulgrave in Melbourne for the last seventeen years. He has maintained his strong interest in General Medicine over the years and acquired experience in the field of Geriatric Medicine in later years. Dr Warburton has lived in the Yarra Valley for the past twenty years. Dr Warburton likes to continue his reading in the area of clinical medicine, peruse historical and scientific literature, enjoy family life and travel with his wife.
DR MAGDY TWODROS MBBS AMC FRACGP
Dr Magdy Twodros, affectionately known at Dr Two, has 22 years of medical experience working both in Australia and in Cairo, Egypt, where he undertook his initial medical degree. Dr Two is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP’s having successfully passed his exams at the first pass in 2014.
Since arriving in Australia with his lovely wife and 3 daughters in 2006, Dr Two has worked in a very busy General Practice, seeing up to 60 patients a day in Bunbury, Western Australia. Whilst in Bunbury, he was admitting and caring for his own patients at the St John of God Hospital there.
Previously in Cairo, he has served as an Army Medical officer for 3 years, worked as a Paediatric Registrar, in ICU and a Neonatology Unit in a Children’s Hospital for a further 3 years. Then he commenced and ran his own General Practice for 7 years.
Dr Two has a real interest in children and has completed a Specialised Diploma in Paediatrics. He also has significant experience with the Aged, attending many Nursing Home patients. He is also highly experienced in diagnosing Skin Cancer and Lesions, using his own Dermatoscope.
Dr Two consults 4 days a week in the practice, and cares for our patients in many of our Residential Aged Care Facilities on other days.
DR ANTHONY RIXON MBBS, FRACGP, DRCOG, B.BIOMED SC
Dr Anthony Rixon graduated from the University of Queensland in 2001 with a post-graduate degree in Medicine. Prior to this, he undertook a Bachelor of Biomedical Science majoring in Physiology. He has trained extensively in hospitals both in Australia and overseas.
In 2009 he completed specialist training in General Practice, achieving his Royal Australian College of General Practice Fellowship (FRACGP). He has since focused on skin and Cosmetic Medicine. Dr Anthony has also completed a Masters of Medicine specialising in Skin Cancer. This is recognised as the most comprehensive qualification in Skin Cancer diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, he has detailed knowledge of facial anatomy and understands the intricacies of structures underneath the skin.
Dr Anthony is recognised as a skillful injector through his participation in advanced workshops on dermal filler and Botulinum Toxin. He regularly attends conferences showcasing the most current information on Cosmetic Medicine, staying up-todate with the latest technologies and techniques.
