Dr Geoff Brice – MBBS FRACGP
Dr Geoff, our founding medical director opened our practice in July 2010. A GP with over 30 years of Australian Medical experience, he has worked predominantly in Family Medicine, but also as an Emergency Physician, at Maroondah, Knox and Cabrini Hospitals. He was responsible for bringing many of the Residents of Local Aged Facilities to our practice. To this day our doctors care for over 18 Residential Aged Care Facilities in the outer East. Doctor Brice has a wide range of interests in medicine, from General Medicine, to Anti-aging and Integrative Medicine, Arthritis, Obesity and healthy nutrition. Beyond medicine you can find him in his garden, or enjoying his music. He is an avid sports fan, who still believes in the Mighty Dee’s.
He recently celebrated his 45th Wedding Anniversary, with his wife Sue, with a round the world trip. He is father to 3 children and 6 grandchildren, who he adores.
Dr Lucy (Hong Yu) Hu – MBBS
Dr Lucy is a caring General Practitioner who loves all aspects of General Practice especially the diversity that it brings. She is a comprehensive doctor who strives to ensure all her patients receive a high quality medical care. Dr Lucy trained in Paediatric medicine and and brings with her over 12 years experience in Paediatric Medicine. Dr Lucy continues with her love of children by being one of our leading Paediatric General Practitioners.
Fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, Dr Lucy is able to provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all denominations.
Dr Richard Green – MBBS FRACGP
Dr Richard graduated MBBS from Monash University in Victoria, in 1994. He attained his specialist GP qualifications, his FRACGP in 2011. He is married with two young children, he enjoys developing his garden, and being with his family. Richard brings many years of experience in General practice to our medical centre, and is interested in all aspects of General practice. He’s an avid music fan, and relaxes with his music.
Dr Vijay Jayaraman – MBBS FRACGP MRCGP (UK) DFFP MD DCH MSc (Diabetes)
Dr Vijay is an experienced GP with a special interest in the management of Chronic and Complex Diseases including; Heart Disease, Asthma and other Respiratory diseases.Dr Vijay has a special interest in the management of Diabetes.
Dr Vijay performs minor surgical procedures and administers joint injections.
Dr Vijay works with individuals and couples to provide family planning advice. He is accredited with inserting implanons and coils.
Outside of his practice works, Dr Vijay visits with residents at ort many Nursing Home and Residential facilities to provide holistic care at all stages of life including Palliative Care.
Dr Vijay Practices with empathy and takes time to listen to and communicate with his patients.
Dr Vijay is an approved Methadone and Suboxone prescriber.
Dr Sumita Singh – MBBS FRACGP
Having served in the Army Medical Corps, as a medical officer, Dr Sumita is equipped with the knowledge and
practical skills to manage an array of health concerns.
Dr Colman Fung – MBBS FRACGP
Before joining our practice, Dr Colman was the Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care of the University of Hong Kong. He had over 40 publications in the field of Family Medicine and Primary Care in international peer-reviewed journals. His special interests are on mental health, chronic disease management, and men’s health.
He also had Diploma in Child Health (Irel) and Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology (Wales). Obtaining the Master of Counselling of the Monash University in 2018 facilitated Dr Colman to get more “connected” with his patients. With the ability to communicate well in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Dr Colman enjoys being a General Practitioner in Australia, as he can provide holistic care (physically, psychologically, and socially) to his patients.
Dr David Warburton – MBBS FRACGP FRACMA
Dr David, having worked in The Valley Private Hospital’s Emergency Department is skilled to manage not only minor medical ailments but also complex Medical conditions. Having specialist knowledge in Geriatric Medicine, Dr David Warburton extends his clinical expertise beyond the clinic to provide Medical support and care to residents residing in our many Nursing and Residential facilities.
Passionate about educating new doctors, Dr David is also involved in the clinical education of Medical students.
Dr Magdy Twodros – MBBS AMC FRACGP
Dr Madgy, is no longer seeing patients within General Practice. Passionate about caring of our ageing population, Dr Twodros dedicates his time to care for the elderly residents associated with our many residential and aged care facilities.
Dr Wendy Schaffer – Psychologist MAPS MCEDP
Dr Wendy, a member of the Australian Psychological Society, is a Consulting Psychologist, group analyst and Psychoanalytical psychotherapist, with over 30 years clinical experience.
Wendy works holistically and is able to discern the best method of psychological intervention for each individual, group or family. Employing evidence based theories including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, interpersonal Therapy and group Psychotherapies, Wendy is competent in facilitating management of a wide variety of Mental Health concerns including; Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance abuse and grief.

Val Yumul – Practice Nurse
Val provides competent, comprehensive and proficient nursing care to all our patients.
Val is a specialist Chronic Disease management nurse and is skilled with immunisations and wound care.
He facilitates emergency care and management of our patients whilst assisting with surgical procedures.
Sonia O’Reilly – Practice Nurse
Passionate about caring for the ageing population, Sonia visits with clients at our Residential Nursing Home facilities to conduct comprehensive health assessments and ensure each clients individual needs are met.
When not working in our aged care facilities, Sonia is in the practice to facilitate patient care and management.
Sue Wilson – Practice Manager
